Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and consistent advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance issues.
  • Maintenance of all attendance, sickness and payroll data.
  • Reviewing and revising HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation.
  • Ensure IPC compliance with Thai labor laws, including health and safety at work practices.
  • Developing personal policies, maintaining and updating policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed.
  • Organizing and conducting employee testing and recruitment programs.
  • Administering and keeping information on benefits and compensation packages up-to-date.
  • Receiving employee complaints and acting accordingly to resolve them.
  • Forecast and plan manpower requirements for project staff (master schedule).
  • Contact and develop relationships with local recruitment agencies (& online resources) to improve recruitment, retention and skills levels of all IPC staff.
  • Provide administrative support to process expat work permit and visa requirements.

Requirements:

  • Clear and proactive communication skills (Pre-Intermediate English or above).
  • Practical problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Commitment to customer and employee service.
  • Microsoft Office skills – Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
  • 3 to 5 years in an HR/manpower/personnel role.
  • Knowledge of company policies and Thai labor law.

Sales representatives

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers and meet sales targets set by sales manager
  • Maintain a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calling, telephone and email marketing, and strong customer relationships
  • Deliver invoices and collect customer satisfaction reports
  • Provide a weekly update of sales meetings and potential projects
  • Setup the pre-application meeting between the client and operations staff
  • Deal with any customer complaints quickly and effectively

Requirements:

  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all company employees.
  • No previous sales experience necessary however attitude and self-motivation is key.
  • Ability to learn key technical aspects of the coatings business.
  • Some ability in English preferred (most client meetings in Thai language).
  • Attention to detail (submission of quotations, specifications which meet customer requirements).

Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for delivery of projects to meet/exceed client expectations, within the budget set for labor, materials and consumables.
  • Manage labor master schedule to ensure cost efficient labor utilization and forward plan of upcoming projects.
  • Liaise with HR, purchasing and stores to coordinate smooth allocation of labor and materials supply.
  • Work closely with sales to handover pre-application meeting with client.
  • Resolve any site logistics difficulties between client and applications team.
  • Review and approve completion of work.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in project management in a related industry: engineering, construction, plant maintenance.
  • Familiar with project control and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Client focused.
  • Proactive, hands-on management style.

Foreman

Responsibilities

  • Plan daily work activities according to the project schedule.
  • Assign work to applicators, technicians and safety staff.
  • Manage the application of materials in line with product specifications and health & safety standards.
  • Timely and accurate completion  and reporting of daily control sheets to the project manager.
  • Explain any variations to schedule, for example labor or materials usage variance.
  • Ensure safe and secure storage of materials and consumables on client site.
  • Keep a daily record of attendance, supervise daily transport of workers to project site.
  • Meet client and company quality & safety control standards, including the use of personal health and safety equipment.
  • Supervise and control the use of tools, instruments and machines complete with work instruction manuals. Maintain these items ready to use at all times.
  • Sign off completion of work with client.

Requirements:

  • Able to manage all aspects of on-site project delivery.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with on-site client contact.
  • Report daily progress to client where necessary.
  • Ability to use email/fax for daily reporting of progress.
  • Technical knowledge of the product application.
